Guerrilla testing is “the art of pouncing on lone people in cafe's and public spaces, [then] quickly filming them whilst they use a website for a couple of minutes.” - Martin Belam
UX is more than the visual design and emotional design. It is Research, Analysis, Testing, Prototyping Testing. And then repeating that process. The goal is to provide the audience with an engaging experience. Research is done through surveys, interviews and reviewing analytic data. It also may include A | B testing and my favorite type of test: Guerrilla Testing.
For testing a prototype must be created and to get the best results, it must act like a "real" application but at the same time let the tester understand that all this "design" is disposable. In early stage testing, paper prototyping is quick and very effective.
